Dr. Mayank Agarwal brings with him the title of super-specialist in the field of Hepatology and Gastroenterology. He completed his MBBS from Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh, Dibrugarh University in 2010. He has stepped towards attaining specialization in Medicine from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, Guwahati, SSUHS in 2014 and attained Doctorate in Gastroenterology from Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (GIPMER) New Delhi, Delhi University in the year 2019 and for his dedication towards the specialization, he has been awarded as a GOLD MEDALIST from the university. He has been well acknowledged for presenting oral and poster presentations at ISGCON APDW and other conferences. With extensive experience of 10 years in his hands, Dr. Agarwal has performed approximately more than 500 upper GI endoscopies and colonoscopies to date. His case study titled “Clinical spectrum of patients with Amebic colitis” has earned him rewards. He is skilled with numerous diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including Gastritis, Peptic ulcer disease, constipation, UGI bleed, LGI bleed, Hepatitis B and C, Cirrhosis, Alcoholic and Fatty liver, Jaundice, Blood in stool, and Pancreatitis. He has vast experience in the treatment of critically ill gastroenterology and liver disease patients. At the same time, his updated knowledge and the latest equipment make sure that he does the best for you every time. His core area of expertise is Therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP(Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) and EUS(Endoscopic ultrasound). Dr. Agarwal has worked with various esteemed medical institutions of the nations like GNRC Medical, North Guwahati as a Consultant in Internal Medicine from June 2014 to May 2016 and currently working with Apollo Clinic Bora Service and Hayat Hospital located in Guwahati, Assam.
